You can learn so much by having a 3rd person judge you. When it comes to talents, mentors are preferred, but why is it so taboo to have a someone tell you when your relationship is obviously going sour? People get so defensive about their own lives that they get blinded by themselves. A trend I see is that people tend to ignore advice that deal with their relationships - even when they ask for it. I never thought about it before, but having a 3rd person judge your relationship is actually not bad. A 3rd person can sit back and observe with unbiased eyes; when you’re involved with someone, you don’t have that luxury. So what did I learn today? Judging your own life is not reliable; put down your pride and listen to people you trust.
