Ok so after watching your vids and tutorials i want to know how to improve house dancing. I know i can't always learn by watching vids but how do i i evolve from there? And be confident enough to enter battles. How long and and how often should i practice... Also it seems like most house dancers have bboy background should i learn the basics of bboying too? Hope that made sense.

Learning the moves is not enough. You also have to study how house dancers put moves together. Of course, you can find your own way to do that, but watching people who have been doing the style for many years helps make the process quicker. Find someone to look up to and dissect their style. At first you may have to imitate them, but after time, you should strive to find your own personal style. I know this all might seem vague but fortunately I’ll be putting out a tutorial on how to start putting moves together this week. As for practice, practice comes with your motivation level; if you don’t feel like practicing, most likely you wont. Make practice fun and you’ll end up doing it more often. As much as possible is what I recommend. And no, you don’t have to learn bboying. House floor moves are similar to bboying, but is a whole different artform in itself.
